The first album, released during the winter of 2004. Struggling with a lack of experience in songwriting, singing and musicianship, though feeling quite free and open to experimentation. Part punk, part indie, part psychedelic, all a labour of love.

Released during the fall of 2005. More experiments with free-form structure, but moving more towards lo-fi pop. Still pretty unfocused and inexperienced, but whatever. A lot of Sonic Youth, Elephant 6 and Animal Collective happening in the old discman whilst cleaning the Verizon customer service building around the corner every night. And it shows. One of my personal favorites.

Here’s where it gets interesting. More concise and streamlined, but lacking the experimentation noted in the first two records. Smally’s favorite. The first album that actually got noticed by more than a few. Originally released Summer, 2006.

Originally recorded for the Cozy Home’s “Cardboard Box Set: The Troof Over Your Head” and released in the Winter of 2006. Written (with the exception of the Arthur Rules cover) and recorded in just over three weeks. It’s amazing what you can come up with while trying to quit smoking. Again.

The “official follow-up” to Bad Choice Brigade, originally released in the fall of 2007. Most of the songs were recorded before the previous album and temporarily shelved to make time for the Box Set Challenge. A lot of GbV and JAMC influence, and the longest and most erratic album to date, and one of the most well received.

Released spring of 2009, and two years in the making. There was actually some money and quite a bit of effort put into making this album and it’s the most well-received yet. If you dig what you’ve heard so far, show some love and lay down some scratch ($8 USD + shipping, to be exact) so we can maybe have enough money to put out the next one (vinyl, if you’re good)! Or at least use the money to fix some broken equipment… Comes hand numbered with full color booklet featuring artwork and lyrics, and a handmade collage, found picture or photograph taken by Bobby. Limited to 100 copies.
